While the typical kitchen sink looks modern enough, if you want or need to replace yours, there’s a lot to pick from.
Stainless steel, quartz or granite composite and fireclay (ceramic) sinks are some of the choices. For the cleanest look, go with an undermount sink.
Minor updating can include replacing pantry doors, door hardware, and cabinet knobs and pulls. You can also change to a modern looking kitchen faucet and under-counter soap dispenser.
If you have a water filter, a modern faucet for it would also be nice (a lower-cost alternative is found here).
In addition, you can replace a stand-alone garbage can with this modern one. And, of course, updated lighting – typically recessed lights, will go a long way.
